Change of Base Rule in Logarithms Worksheets

Demonstrate scads of get-up-and-go with our free worksheets on change of base rule in logarithms. The change of base formula states that the expression loga b equals logc b / logc a, where c can be any positive number. For example, the expression log3 81 can be written as log10 81 / log10 3. These printables contain two sections – one where students find the value of each logarithm, and the other where they perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division to evaluate logarithmic expressions with different bases. They must solve both sections using a calculator. In case they are stumped by a question, they can employ the included answer key for a hint.

We advocate these pdf worksheets for high school students.
