  5. Commas in a Series

To separate three or more words, phrases, or clauses in a series we use commas between each, just like we did here. Take this sentence for instance, Kylie bought pens pencils books and crayons at the office supply store. This sentence consists of a series of words that should be separated using commas: Kylie bought pens, pencils, books, and crayons at the office supply store. Make kids understand and practice this further with our pdf worksheet featuring sentences that contain three items or more that require to be separated using commas. Children rewrite each sentence adding commas wherever needed.

This worksheet is recommended for students of grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3.
